The artists at No.16 have decorated a bin to enliven the front of their neighbors house.

Art Sprouting

A large fabric flower has grown up the drain pipe between 16 & 17.

No. 16 appears to sprout art on a regular basis.

Tyre

we found a racing car tyre and have placed it, on bricks, outside No.6 

with some "Place holder" plants to stop it being towed away.

Hanging Basket Case

In a worrying turn of events i appear to have reached the age 

where i find hanging baskets quite delightful.

Further down the street

We made a new wooden planter to augment the existing plant pots at No.4

and donated a rose bush to fill it.

A small repair was necessary to a broken pot at No.2

Absolutely Crate

An old packing crate has made a welcome appearance.

Filling the small gap between 15 and 16. 

Cat Marking Territory

After the residents of No.8 were evicted.

It appears that a number of cats have taken possession.

and left their mark.

Which brings the front garden coverage in the street to a very healthy 80 %

well i say planter,

More of a raised bed, made as it is out of an old futon base.

It looks like that Banksy bloke has been round with his spray can art.

Moving on up

Window boxes have been planted upstairs at No.9

some red and some white trailing Petunia and a few Geraniums.

Sadly the owners of No.21 have evicted the nice people who were living there.

And they have covered the windows with ugly metal grills.

Gap year

Continuing the duel themes of gap filling and metal planters.

I built an aluminum planter to fit snugly between 11 &12

paint pot / plant pot

In the spirit of, anything can be a plant pot,

we planted some sunflowers in a 15 Ltr pot

and popped it outside No.7

more gaps

I could not help noticing a nasty gap between 7 & 8

so i built a rusting metal planter,

which is weathering well. 

Sticky

The windows of No.16 were embellished with sellotape plant pots

and red flowers to add a splash of colour.

Run down

After the squatters were forcibly removed from No.16

The doors and windows were boarded up with plywood making the street look derielict.

However, some artists attached Black and white likenesses of windows and doors over the plywood

charity begins next door

The young Polish couple at No.8 built a wooden planter

and left it outside No.7 which was quickly planted

by the gardeners of Holbeck Row
